Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to find a hotel to stay at for a month on short notice. I absolutely love this place. The manager , Dawn is such an awesome lady. Very understanding & caring. She went out of her way to have every need met. All of the staff here is great. Darlene is especially great as well, really caring & I love talking to her every time she comes by to clean my room (which she does an excellent thorough job) . Everybody here is upbeat, friendly & go above and beyond their duties here.

The staff of this small business are very friendly, and bent over backwards to fix a small issue with my room within five minutes of calling the desk. Great for the price point. Since I made a reservation, they even warmed up the room extra before I got there, which was lovely.

The place looks run down, but the rooms are nice, they're big and clean, and the service was pleasant. They have a diner that serves fantastic food, was able to feed two people nice hot large meals for about $12. The burger was large and stacked with everything, the fries where natural cut they where not over cooked or over salted they where just right. Over all this place is a hidden gem, don't let the look of the place fool you' it's not a dump. I plan on going there again!

Although there is plenty of other places that are likely better looking and comfortable for some folks out there but for some of you like me, at first yeah your mind may second guess about your decision, and all that. But so what, open your eyes, see the originality and upsides. Starting of, this is one of the very few motels that never gets fully booked esprcially during welfare and checks time at the end of each months. Its located in a area where barely anybody really travel or come upon to know about it, so no randoms, yelling drunks, and never have I noticed any troubles in that area. As for Staffs themselves, just like any other person on earth we may get to know, do not judge to quickly, for a fact I know by experience, they are friendly, kind and very understanding on their part. Not the fanciest and elegant spot but for the price, it's not so bad at all, as some of my best memories was the nights spent there with my partner as a gateway of everything else. Pros; cheap price, no credit card needed, always rooms available, smoking & smoking free rooms, bar/restaurant located facing the front desk, bus route nearby. Cons; no deals, not the cleanest and maintained inappropriately, occassionally gof getting a unprofessional staff working. Overall I'd return over and over again because it fills my cup of tea just until I come upon somewhere else that may replace it conveniently at my expenses. Cheers!

It was my home when i lived in canada i stayed every second weekend for 4 days at a time for about 8 months because i was working all over alberta i loved the motel and lens den .i will stay ther again i got to know all the locals in lens .dawn and mags the salt of the earth

Loved it, friendly staff, felt safe staying here, good rooms with all amenities, how cheap rates plus credit card isn't needed, cash and debit, just need to make sure every patron and or guest checking in has a government photo ID. Plus they still have smoking rooms which is great. I will always come back to this family owned business.

I went there on a Friday night recently, downstairs to the lounge to have a quick bite to eat. They had wings on special for 25 cents each. Large meaty wings that were very tasty. Highly recommended.
